No. Albion Command Desk is designed as a passive external companion tool. It does not inject code, automate gameplay, or modify client memory/files.

What do I need for live capture on Windows?

For end users, live mode requires Npcap Runtime. Npcap SDK is only needed when building optional capture-profile dependencies from source.

Does the loot logger scan non-party players?

No. Loot logging is designed around self and party context. If the required party context is unavailable, Albion Command Desk prefers incomplete or empty results over unsafe attribution.

Recommended workflow

1. Start

Open Start first. Confirm runtime, Git, game data, and app update status before running live scanner actions.

2. Meter / Loot

Use Meter for combat review. Use Loot for party item pickups, player-corpse highlights, source filters, and imported log review.

3. Scanner / Market

Use Scanner for Albion Data workflow. Use Market to compare normal and crystallized craft paths, shopping requirements, outputs, and results.

Install in minutes

Windows (recommended)

Open the latest release page.
Download AlbionCommandDesk-Setup-vX.Y.Z-x86_64.exe.
Run installer and follow console prompts.
Launch from desktop shortcut or Start Menu entry.

Live mode on Windows requires Npcap Runtime. Git is only needed for Scanner repository actions. The installer falls back cleanly when capture prerequisites are missing.

Linux / macOS

Download the release install script for your OS.
Run script from terminal.
Launch with albion-command-desk core or live.

For live capture, install the packet-capture prerequisites for your OS. The repository README and in-app Help tab document what is required.
